The Annual Working Conference of Zhejiang Foundry Industry Association was successfully held on July 26. Leaders of key foundry enterprises and industry experts across Zhejiang gathered at the venue to analyze the industrial development landscape and discuss key topics including green foundry, intelligent manufacturing, environmental compliance and industrial chain collaboration, as well as arrange the association’s industry services for the next phase. Zhang Mingwei, Chairman of the Company, was invited to attend the conference.

The conference comprehensively reviewed the association’s work over the year, analyzed prevailing market conditions, environmental policies, cost pressures and transformation opportunities confronting the foundry sector. In-depth discussions were carried out on core themes such as green low-carbon renovation, construction of digital smart factories, improvement of casting quality, industry self-regulation and talent cultivation. Participants also exchanged views on industry policy trends, shared corporate practices of lean production and cost reduction & efficiency improvement, and built a communication and cooperation platform for foundry enterprises in Zhejiang Province.

During the conference, Chairman Zhang Mingwei held extensive exchanges with fellow entrepreneurs and industry experts. Drawing on the company’s practices in hydraulic casting R&D, lean casting and green production, he shared insights on common industry challenges and coordinated development of the industrial chain.

He stated that the foundry industry is accelerating its shift toward high-end, intelligent and green development. Enterprises should uphold craftsmanship and pursue continuous innovation, proactively advance process upgrading and energy-saving renovation, and focus on the track of precision hydraulic castings.

Meanwhile, closer communication and mutual learning among peers are essential to jointly drive high-quality development of Zhejiang’s foundry industry.
